Compile NEURON-Based Program for MAC

My neuropsychology course at UCLA frequently learns "Swimmy" (a virtual neurophysiology teaching module) created in NEURON by a now-retired professor. The program runs exclusively in Windows. Does anybody know how to compile this program for Mac use?

Here's the catch: Swimmy also displays an animation window that was NOT written in NEURON. Instead it was written in Visual Basic that reads data from a file made by NEURON.
