Hi everyone,
I'm a rather new researcher and to NEURON. I was wondering if the community could recommend any models that illustrated spike frequency adaptation in a neuron, induced by standard extended square pulse?
The model I'm working on is supposed to exhibit SFA... but frustratingly isn't. Methinks I just need to get a little smarter about adaptation and NEURON.

Just about any model that involves a noninactivating delayed rectifier will have spike frequency adaptation. Even the Hodgkin-Huxley model does, although HH's adaptation is nearly complete after ~ 5 spikes or so. You might search for adaptation in ModelDB modeldb.yale.edu or Channelpedia channelpedia.epfl.ch
