The 2016 meeting of the Society for Neuroscience will include two satellite sessions that are highly relevant to modelers.
- a one day NEURON course from 9 AM to 5 PM on Friday, Nov. 11
- a workshop on the Neuroscience Gateway Portal from 9 AM to noon on Saturday, Nov. 12. The NSG is an NSF-supported resource that offers modelers free CPU time and a convenient user interface for running parallel simulations or performing other computationally intensive tasks on high performance hardware.
The registration deadline for both of these events is Friday, Oct. 28, Friday, Oct. 2, is the registration deadline for both of these events, but space is limited so you should sign up early. See https://www.neuron.yale.edu/neuron/courses for more information and links to registration forms.
