Hello,

i'm looking for the following neuron cell types but i can't find them. I need 20 cells for every type with a data structure that neuron can handle with it. Can anybody help me and can give me a link for a cell archive or something like that.

rat somatosensory cortex: a) layer 3 aspiny stellate

cat visual cortex: b) layer 4 spiny stellate
c) layer 3 pyramid
d) layer 5 pyramid
Thank you!

Greetings, Franzi

Hi,

The ModelDB will probably help you:

For instance, you will find a layer 3 aspiny neuron in this model:

Be sure to read these papers, which discuss various artifacts that frequenly affect
morphometric data and can have serious adverse effects on simulation results:

In the time since this question was first posted, NeuroMorpho.org has emerged as the first
place to look. Caveats about morphometric data, however, remain the same.
