When I first installed Neuron on my laptop with Ubuntu I could save my session, and I could kind of load it, with some problems. Then I installed it on a separate machine running windows and I started working through this guide:
http://www.neuron.yale.edu/neuron/stati ... topol.html
But that's as far as I got, when it told me to save it simply wouldn't. Either the save button was unresponsive or it said the disk could not be opened for writing. I tried solving it for two hours but to no avail, I went home thinking I could do it on this Ubuntu machine instead. But no, same problem here... Any ideas?
Problem with saving session
Re: Problem with saving session
Hahaha nevermind I figured it out
(In case anyone else has the same problem, don't type the name of the file you want to save into the filter box!)

True. The "filter" tells the file brower tool what kind of files to display. For session files, the default filter string isMumrik wrote:don't type the name of the file you want to save into the filter box!)
*.ses
which means the tool should show you what files whose names end in .ses already exist in the working directory.
