I am just starting out with a simple voltage clamp simulation and I am puzzled by all the parameters in the VClamp point process manager. Is there a document that explains these parameters (tau, e0, vo, i, e, vo, vi, etc)?
Thanks,
Stephan

Re: VClamp in Point Process Manager
You'll find a description of VClamp in the Programmer's Reference. If you're using MSWin, a copy is in your NEURON program group, where it is called Documentation. Look in the alphabetical index for VClamp. If you're using OS X or UNIX/Linux, see the online Programmer's Reference. Here's a link to the specific item:I am puzzled by all the parameters in the VClamp point process manager. Is there a document that explains these parameters (tau, e0, vo, i, e, vo, vi, etc)

For "a simple voltage clamp simulation", VClamp is exactly the wrong thing to use. Seestephanb wrote:I am just starting out with a simple voltage clamp simulation
Use SEClamp instead of VClamp
