netstim and randomness

Hello,
I'm using netstim and netcon to trigger an EXp2Syn :
This code is inserted within a loop in which other parameters (conductances of voltage dependent channels) vary.
//e.g in pseudo code
At each run the random pattern changes for Epsp generation. Is it possible that this random pattern remain the same (by fixing seed)?
Thanks
I'm using netstim and netcon to trigger an EXp2Syn :
Code: Select all
n_syn=5 //5 synapses
objref syn[n_syn]
// the synapses are located on a dendrite called den
for i=0,n_syn-1{
dend{syn[i]=new Exp2Syn(0.5) syn[i].tau1=0.1 syn[i].tau2=2 syn[i].e=0}
}
// I create 5 netstim
objref netstim[n_syn]
for i=0,n_syn-1{
netstim[i]=new NetStim()
netstim[i].interval=50
netstim[i].number=200
netstim[i].start=0
netstim[i].noise=1// Here I use a random generation oe epsp
}
objref netcon[n_syn]
for i=0,n_syn-1{
netcon[i]=new NetCon(netstim[i],syn[i])// on relie le netcon à la synapse
netcon[i].threshold=1
netcon[i].delay=0
netcon[i].weight=0.001
}
This code is inserted within a loop in which other parameters (conductances of voltage dependent channels) vary.
//e.g in pseudo code
Code: Select all
for i=1, 10 {
soma.gbar_Na= 10 *i
run()
}
At each run the random pattern changes for Epsp generation. Is it possible that this random pattern remain the same (by fixing seed)?
Thanks
