I'm wondering the same question.
I tried to write a bash file like
and execute it before doing anything with neuron, but now the terminal doesn't recognize any standard command (like "ls", "mkdir" and so on).
Is there an easier way?

I recently use Neuron 6.2 on a MacBook with Leopard 10.5.5, 2,4 GHz Processor and 4GB RAM, but the simulation of the same code takes much more time with respect to my old laptop, with Windows Xp, 1GHz Processor and 1GB RAM.
