A very simple connection

Post by porio »

Hi,

I'm working with a very simple model consisting of two compartmens, each with its own conductances.
I want to have them connected in such a way that

I1 = Ii1 + gc*(v1-v2)
I2 = Ii2 + gc*(v2-v1)

where In, Iin and vn are the total membrane current, the ionic current and the membrane voltage in compartment n, respectively. gc would be a coupling constant.

I thought that a gap junction connection would be more appropiated but maybe it's too complex for what I want. Is it?

Thanks!

Gap junction will do the job nicely.
