The Departments of Neurology & Neurosurgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin have an opening for a post-doctoral fellow in the areas of neuromodulation and computational neuroscience. This position is for motivated and enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication skills who work well in a collaborative research environment. Successful applicants will be expected to develop new ideas, publish in journals and conferences, and present at national and international meetings. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience or related field with experience in neural engineering or neuromodulation research. The successful applicant will conduct human experiments in tandem with computational analysis to characterize the effects of cortical and deep brain stimulation (DBS).
