Hi,
I am using a model which is implementing a passive current. The passive conductance and equilibrium potential (gpas, epas) are set to a constant value, yet the passive current (ipas) changes in time. I was wondering why this occurs.
Thanks,

Re: passive current
Ionic current is driven by electrochemical potential gradient across the membrane. A good place to read further on this topic would be Johnston & Wu's "Foundations of Cellular Neurophysiology" or Aidley's "Physiology of Excitable Cells" or
