Is there any research funding information support available for NEURON users? Or is any funding option available as such for biophysical model development through NEURON?

Sure, from the usual sources, through the usual process of application and review. One imagines that's how most of the nearly 1200 publications in NEURON's bibliography

came to be. Some of those papers might even explicitly mention where they got the money to do the reported work.
