saving a session

Post by ShreyanshShah »

Hello Sir!
Whenever I save a session file after running neuron and getting the result, is there anyway I can save a textfile or a notepad along with that session in which I can write down whatever was the purpose of that session file or anyother useful information. So, when next time I open this session file, that textfile will also open along with that showing what this session file is about.
Thanks!

NEURON does not have a notepad feature. You can use a graph's
Change Text feature to add brief comments to it before printing or
saving it to an idraw (postscript) file--click on the menu box and
select Change Text. Then click on the canvas and type anything
as long as it fits on a single line. Break long comments into multiple
short lines.

It's a good idea to log what you've been doing to a text file. Under
MSWin, the free version of NoteTab is excellent for this--far superior
to brain dead Notepad. Non-MSWin users have a plethora of
outstanding free choices.
