mknrndll failure in 10.9.1

Hi All,

Just installed NEURON 7.3 on a Mac running OS 10.9.1 (updated yesterday). I have the latest version of Xcode (5.0.2), in which the command line tools are installed automatically. The nrngui works just fine, and I can run .hoc code. mknrndll, however, does not work: the error is "mknrndll.app is damaged and should be moved to the trash." I get the same error for modlunit, mos2nrn, and neurondemo.

I tried reinstalling NEURON, but to no avail.

I wonder whether the problem is in my .bash_profile or path? Or are there really problems with the NEURON files?

Thanks,

Josh

Hi All,

I seem to be having the same problem with mknrndll using osx10.9.4.
The link with the fix does not seem to be working (http://www.neuron.yale.edu/ftp/neuron/v ... y1.1.0.dmg)

Does anyone know where I can get this release?

Try the most recent alpha dmg for OS X. It's in http://www.neuron.yale.edu/ftp/neuron/versions/alpha/. As of today, the latest one is http://www.neuron.yale.edu/ftp/neuron/v ... 10.7.5.dmg, dated 28 July 2014. Let me know whether that takes care of the problem.
