Faculty Position

Northwestern University's Department of Engineering Sciences and Applied
Mathematics invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty
position to begin as soon as September 2006. Requirements include a
Ph.D. and demonstrated ability to conduct high-impact interdisciplinary
research in applied mathematics, with a focus on complexity. Duties involve
teaching and research. Rank and salary are negotiable. To ensure full

research interests, and at least three letters of recommendation before

More information about the Department of Engineering Sciences and Applied

candidate will conduct interdisciplinary, applied mathematics research, with
a focus on complexity arising in natural or engineered networks. Because
computational neuroscience is an interest represented within the department,
network-related research within neuroscience would be one appropriate area
of application.
