Dear NEURON community,
I would like to introduce LFPy, a new, easy to use Python module for simulating extracellular field potentials from compartmental models relying on the use of the NEURON under the hood which is now public, here on the forums. Please see http://www.neuroinf.org/pipermail/comp- ... 03190.html for the original announcement.
LFPy's homepage can be found here; http://compneuro.umb.no/LFPy, with more information, downloads, installation instructions, online documentation etc.
On behalf of the LFPy-developers, I hope that the tools provided in LFPy can useful in some way or another in your research projects.
Best regards,
Espen Hagen

Re: Introducing LFPy, a Python module for simulating LFPs
Hi, Hagen,
I would like to use LFPy in my project. I have strong interests in using it.
But I found http://compneuro.umb.no/LFPy is no longer available.
Did you move the website?
Or can you send me related materials?
Thank you so much.

Thanks, Oren. Sorry for my late response.
Another thing I want to check with you is, do you know any big neuronal network that people have been published, using LFPy in it?
Because what I read from Linden et al. 2013, is LFPy couldn't support paralleled computing of NEURON.
Thanks in advance.
