Dear all,
I was wondering if there is a turn around in NEURON, i.e, a complementary software or an extension of NEURON itself, that enables the embedding of a neuron in a physical space, allowing the studying of mechanosensitive channels?

No, but if you can tell me a mathematical description of how force or deformation affects the channels, I can tell you how that can be implemented with some combination of (hoc and/or Python) and (NMODL or a ChannelBuilder).
