Random spikes on deterministic model.High-frequency stimul

I have adapted a model of a myelinated axon (MRG axon - McIntyre et al, 2002) available on the modelDB so that it would include stimulation by both an extracellular point source and an intrinsic current clamp. The current clamp will be injecting a bursting pattern on one end of the fiber and I want ...

Re: Running Channel Builder with no GUI

I have finally been able to try it on the linux cluster and it works perfectly as it is! Sorry for not having tried it before I posted.I was trying to get ahead of my problems and ended up creating problems that don't exist...
Thanks, Joao.

Running Channel Builder with no GUI

I want to run a model that incorporates channels built with the channel builder on a linux system where no graphical server is installed.

Which modifications can I do to the .ses file generated by the channel builder in order to get it running?

Thanks ahead for your attention, Joao.

Re: Temperature dependence with the Channel Builder

Thank you very much for the quick reply. I now have control over the temperature and it appears to be working rather well.
Kind regards, Joao.

Plotting states with stochastic ion channels-Channel Builder

Is there a way to plot the number of channels in each state of a stochastic model built with the channel builder? The only information I can get about the channels in each state is from the Point Process Viewer ("real time"), is there anyway to access/save this information?

Temperature dependence with the Channel Builder

I am building a model of a network of axons with stochastic sodium and potassium channels, and the best way to do so seemed to be using the channel builder. Having built the model of an axon with point processes for the ionic channels (like Chow and White, 1996) and having it working for 6.3 celsius...
